MDI Modified Epoxy Resin
General description
MDI modified epoxy resin is formed by the reaction of isocyanate group with epoxy group to form heterocyclic oxazolidinone structure. While it can improve the rigidity of molecular structure chain,at thesame time doesnot sacrifize the flexibility, adhesion and metal adhesion of the resin system.The oxazolidinone structure in the epoxy resin does not reduce the functionality of the epoxy resin. Theremaining epoxy groups can be further cured with other curing agents to obtain a curing system with highthermal resistance.
Brominated MDI modified epoxy resin and halogen-free MDI modified epoxy resin can be obtained byselecting different isocyanate and epoxy resin.
